Couples work deserves better than a blank page

Couples intake usually starts from scratch. Each partner tells a different story, often with the other one listening. Progress is something you feel, not something you can show. And the assessments that exist stop at intake.

TwoWell is measurement-based care built for couples. It starts before the first session and keeps going for the whole course of care.

What you get

What TwoWell does

A private Growth Check for each partner

Each partner answers alone, on their own phone, in their own lens. Neither sees the other's answers. Four domains: Communication, Emotional Connection, Common Ground, and Physical Intimacy. It adapts, so partners skip what doesn't apply to them.

A Growth Report before session two

Growth Scores from 0 to 100 for every facet, with Growth Bands. Where partners see things differently by 25 points or more. Where they read each other well, and where they miss. Each partner’s top unmet needs. A validity flag when answers look rushed.

Focus Facets you confirm

TwoWell suggests the two or three facets to work on first. You confirm or swap them before the couple sees anything. Your judgment stays in charge.

Practices that fit the couple’s season

Short, concrete homework matched to each facet’s band: Care, Grow, Steady, or Flourish. Each partner sees it in their own lens. You can assign, swap, or hold back any Practice.

A weekly Pulse

A few minutes for each partner, drawn from their Focus Facets. Momentum shows whether things are rising, holding, or dipping, so you walk into session knowing.

Care Alerts, for your eyes only

Some answers raise a Care Alert on your dashboard. Couples never see it. While one is open, Practices in sensitive areas pause automatically until you review.

Real Change you can show

A new Growth Check every 30 days, or whenever you open one. See what moved, for each couple and across your caseload.

Strengths first, for every couple

Couples never see numbers. They see band names (Flourishing, Steady, Growing, Needs Care), an icon, and a simple four-dot meter. Their report opens with gifts. Gaps are framed as things they both want more of. Misses are questions to ask, never “wrong answers.”

That makes the report something you can hand a couple without bracing for the fallout.

Meet each partner in their own language

Each partner chooses Faith or Values. Every question measures the same thing in both lenses, so scores stay comparable even when partners choose differently. Mixed-lens couples get a short extra set of questions on how they honor each other’s beliefs. You see both lenses side by side.

If you work with Christian couples, the Faith lens uses covenant, prayer, and scripture naturally, with gentler wording for intimacy. If you don’t, the Values lens never mentions faith.

Questions clinicians ask

How long does the Growth Check take?

About 40 minutes per partner. Most people do it in two sittings. Progress saves after every section, and results open only when both partners finish.

Do partners see each other’s answers?

No. Each partner sees their own answers and the shared Growth Report. You see both partners’ responses.

Can I change the Focus Facets?

Yes. You confirm or swap them before the couple sees them. The couple may swap one.

Does TwoWell screen for abuse or self-harm?

No. Keep doing the screening you already do. Some answers raise a Care Alert for you, and a partner who signals distress sees private support resources. TwoWell is not a crisis service.

Is TwoWell a healthcare product?

No. TwoWell is a relationship education and measurement tool, not a medical device, treatment, or electronic health record. It doesn’t diagnose and isn’t therapy. Clinicians use it alongside their own care, the way they would use a questionnaire, and keep their clinical record where they keep it now. Your practice decides how it fits your own policies.

Is this part of my clinical record?

Treat TwoWell as a measurement tool, not your record. Keep clinical notes where you keep them now. TwoWell drafts a progress summary, SOAP or DAP note from its data that you edit, then copy or download as a Word file for your own records.

Does it work with supervision?

Yes. A practice can name licensed supervisors. A supervisor sees supervisees’ caseloads read-only (only where both partners share), co-signs notes and Focus choices sent to them, and keeps a supervision-hours log you can export.

What if a client doesn’t want to take it?

They don’t have to. Nothing about their care changes.

Can I use it with individuals?

Not yet. TwoWell is built for two.

Do I earn anything when my clients buy a membership?

No. Clinicians never earn commissions on client purchases. You get practice pricing and $200 in credit when a colleague you refer stays three months.

See your next couple clearly, before session two.
